Asim is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting as well as Master’s of Science in Data Analytics.
After graduating from the University of Calgary, Asim began his career with KPMG in Toronto, where he audited the financial statements of companies that were listed on the TSX, TSXV, and NASDAQ stock exchange. After several years of working at a managerial capacity within KPMG, he spent three years in Constellation Software as a controller, where he managed the accounting as well as financial planning & analysis function of two business units that generated around $50 million in revenues every year. From there, Asim spent several years building his tax knowledge by working as a contractor for various firms across the Calgary region.
Asim's vision is to understand your business through compliance work such as bookkeeping and corporate taxes. From there, he will interpret the numbers and provide actionable insights that will allow you to improve your business operations. He will also determine your needs as an individual in order to build a customized tax planning solution for your corporation.
